2nd Prenatal Appt--17 weeks
Went to the OB on Thurs. Jason was able to make it to this one and heard the heartbeat again! Strong and loud, 163-168. The doctor seems to think it's a girl b/c the heart rate has been higher and I broke out in zits (extra estrogen in my system). But we shall see...I got my script for my ultrasound. I'll make the appt in the next two weeks!! Very anxious now to find out. I don't really have a feeling what it may be, but I want to say a boy just because that's all we have in the family. At least I have a 50/50 chance! I feel the little one moving around every now and again. Such a strange feeling, like little flutters. And I'm sure it's not gas =) So, still feeling good, no big craving yet. Tend to lean towards sweeter stuff, salads and pasta. Don't ever crave meat, but I still like to eat it! Can't wait to go home in July to hog out on my favorite foods--and this time, I have an excuse to eat!! Will keep you posted on what we're having!!

Holy Belly!!
Okay, have you seen my belly this week?! Holy crap! It's getting bigger and bigger and bigger! They say it's the size of an avacado now--great, now I feel weird eating guacamole or having it on my salad. Still feeling great, anxious to start feeling the little booger kick me. It will be more reassuring instead of waiting for my pre-natal exams. Going to the OB on Thursday so I will update everyone. I'm hoping to get my next sonagram in the coming weeks to see what's growing between those legs! Then I can start planning better for decorating, registry ideas, and names!! I'm taking suggestions, so drop us your favorite names. I like different names and traditional names, but nothing over the top (maybe just twist the spelling or something). I'm not a celebrity and my kid is no Apple or Phinneus! Keep you updated on the important stuff--and yes, the wonderful weight gain. 8-)

The news is out!
14wks 4days, and lots more days to go! I finally told work and posted it on facebook today, everyone is very happy. Now they know I'm not just getting a big belly from food! :) Some people think a boy, others a girl so we'll just have to wait and see what goods are growing on my peanut!!! Although, I don't feel so pretty lately, face breaking out...girls take your beauty away, right? Well, if it's a boy, we have a lot to talk about once he comes out! We'll find out soon enough! I think around 20 wks or so? So my polish ham is growing, or as many websites say--it's as big as a lemon or a cell phone now. I look at my phone and have a hard time correlating to the two. Strange. So off for now, my child needs a snack--something sweet! Yummy!
